What if I already have a passport? Do I need to renew it?
Your passport must be valid for a minimum of 6 months after your expected return date. If it doesn't meet this requirement, you must renew it prior to departure.
What do I do after I receive my passport?
You will be required to upload a scanned copy of the photo page of your passport in StudioAbroad prior to your departure. You will receive email reminders about this. There are scanners in the Library, the International Programs Office and the Campus Life Suite that you can use for this purpose.
What is a visa?
A visa is an official document issued by the consulate of the country you will be visiting. The visa will be placed inside your passport and gives you permission to study in the host country.
