In Case of Emergency
In case of an emergency,contact your program director immediately. You should also contact Augustana Campus Safety at 605-274-4014 who will notify appropriate on-campus staff of the situation.
In the event of a political, social or natural emergency, Augustana and/or the program provider will be in close contact with the on-site staff who will seek advice from the local authorities and the US Consulate or Embassy closest to the situation. Assistance will be managed in coordination with EIIA Foreign Assist and Augustana University who will communicate with parents, emergency contacts and the media as necessary.
If you are victimized by either sexual harassment or sexual assault, you should first seek a safe place. Contact your program director and Augustana Campus Safety at 605-274-4014 as soon as you are able. If you are traveling independently, contact your program director and Augustana Campus Safety for guidance. You can also seek help from a local resource.
